The Victorian High Ability Program (VHAP) is offered by the Department of Education and Training as part of the Student Excellence Program. It supports students who show a high level of skills in in Mathematics or English, based on their NAPLAN results and performance.

The selected students take part in a ten-week online course in either Mathematics or English. 

The VHAP classroom provides students with the opportunity to:

• explore and express their ideas freely
• make their own decisions about their work
• be inspired and challenged by each other
• gain confidence in their choices and abilities
• feel excited by their learning.
